Drinking and driving affects more than just the driver. It also affects everyone surrounding them. Not just that. If they were to hit something or someone more people are affected. For those that don't know what happened my little sister is a victim of a drunk driving hit and run. He leg had been broken along with other serious injuries to her body. She suffered an immense amount of physical, emotional and mental pain. What some people don't realize is that this affects everyone. The victim, the culprit and everyone in the circles.

The Sad Truth About Disabilities
There are still a lot of people in this
world that think just because a person is disabled they're a lesser
person. That our capabilities are much more limited than the rest of
society. This is not the case. There are a lot of people out there
with disabilities that are more capable than lets say a “normal”
person. I put normal in quotes to emphasize that fact that there
really isn't just one definition for the word. The word normal can
mean millions of different things. Everyone has their own distinct
definition of it.

My Life Story: Part Three
After experiencing numerous issues at my step-dad's house I had decided to move into my dad's house. Along with the move to new new house I also had switched into a new high school. Moving to a new high school is like starting all over again. Everything seems new and very unfamiliar. I was lucky to find that there was no one here that would try to bully me.

My Life Story: Part Two
Among the treatments my parents and I had tried physio was the most physically uncomfortable experience. They had me stretch and move around my muscles to get them working. The part of this that was uncomfortable to me was the fact that they would bend my arms and legs farther then they could physically bend. I would be in pain most of the time that I was there and leave sore. I had stopped physio when there was signs of more discomfort/pain than results.
As a teenager I continued my interests in computers and technology. In high school I had been taking Communication Technology. This was a course showing students basic to intermediate computer applications from word processors to 3d animation software. I was pretty good with the 3d software so that's what I had excelled in in school.

My Life Story: Part One
My birth was very early. I think it was at least a couple of months off. The moment I was born there was no sign of life from me. I didn't have a pulse nor was I breathing. After the procedure I had to be taken away to be put into an incubator for about a week. The doctors taking care of me at the time said that it was very unlikely that I would survive. After I was taken out of the incubator my parents were allowed to take me home for the first time.

Cyber Bullying is Disgusting
Online bullying or cyber bullying is a form of harassment and shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. Whether its on social media sites or apps for a phone or tablet is disrespectful and hurtful. Not just to the intended target but to everyone involved. By sending these harmful messages a person can severely hurt someone emotionally or physically. I think that it's very sneaky and cowardly to hide behind a screen and send out messages to cause harm.

We are people first (Guest post)
We need to be able to say what we feel. We need to be able to talk about the things that bother us; the things that matter, the things that make us sad and the things that make us angry.
We need to be able to say the things that hurt us even if it means us hurting someone else. We need to talk about mental health, which includes depression, even suicide. Mental health is even more serious than physical health, because without our emotions in tact, we’ll struggle to understand our physical symptoms.

Working with a Disability
Over time I have realized that having a
disability can seriously affect obtaining a job. This makes earning
an income to support myself very difficult. Then I created a blog and
started writing from home. It was easy to start up and to keep it
going I wrote articles to help others with disabilities. My blog is
geared towards collaborating with others so everyone can benefit from
it. Over the years I have received useful comments by my readers and
great feedback. This is a great way for someone with a disability to
work. By helping others you learn a lot more on how to cope and make
you life a better place to be in.

Cooking with a Disability 2
I love to cook my own meals. I find
that it tastes better and a healthier solution in comparison to
prepackaged food. This way I can put exactly what I want in my meal.
Although, I do have some difficulties
preparing some of the food. For example, chopping or slicing
vegetables. When doing so I need the use of both of my hands. This
can be a
problem because the tremors in my left
hand are a lot worse than my right. Cutting or slicing vegetables can
be a bit of a task. That's were the use of Medicinal Marijuana
comes in. When my muscles in my hands
and arms are more relaxed I can slice/chop my vegetables a lot more
easily.

Medicinal Marijuana
Medicinal Marijuana and Cerebral Palsy, in my opinion, go hand in hand. I personally have found that upon using it my life has started to become a little bit easier. For example my typing skills have increased tremendously.
I have found out at a young age that having a disability can be very stressful. Not being able to play and move around like the other kids. And if that wasn’t stressful enough, making friends was even more difficult. This is speaking from my experiences throughout my life.

I'm back!
It has been a few years since I have last wrote for my blog. It’s been a stressful adventure to say the least. The hardest of which is finding out what I want to do as a career. My goal is to one day be able to afford a place of my own. In order to do that I need some sort of job. Many of the jobs around me are very high in physical labor. What I’m currently looking for is some sort of desk job. Something that I can work my way up through the ranks and gain experience on the way. I’m not quite sure why I haven’t started writing sooner.
I am hoping to get back into writing for my blog and getting my site back up and running. I look forward to hearing more feedback from my readers and hope I can still get some attention to my blog. Thank your for your support and I’ll be writing again soon!
